Our Characters

🗡️ The Hunter

Forged by loss and mystery, the Hunter is a man marked by unseen scars. His face reflects a mix of determination and torment. He never speaks of his past, but his eyes carry stories that freeze the blood. He traverses Colombia's northern coast in search of answers... or redemption.

Halfway between skepticism and spirituality, the Hunter doesn't fear the spirits, but respects them. He carries a machete wrapped in red ribbons and a locket with a worn photo. His journey is personal, but his path will affect entire towns. He doesn't seek to hunt beasts, but to face the darkness that dwells both in myths and within himself.

Don Efraín

👑 Don Efraín

Don Efraín is the mayor of El Desconsuelo. A corpulent man with a deep voice and distrustful gaze. He is respected, though feared. He believes in order, stability... and not tempting what sleeps. Unlike the Hunter, Don Efraín doesn't want answers: he wants things to remain buried.

In his eyes, the Hunter is a dangerous outsider who risks the fragile peace with the spirits. 'If you disturb the Silbón, it won't be you who pays the price, but my people,' he says firmly. He won't hesitate to use his power, his guard, or even his own dealings with dark forces to stop what he sees as a threat.

🌿 Eyamuke, Guardian of the Ancient Voice

Eyamuke is a young indigenous man from the Narakajmanta community, with the serene gaze of one who listens more than speaks. Son of a jaibaná grandfather, he inherited knowledge of plants, dreams, and mountain whispers. He speaks in proverbs and walks as if he knew the secrets of the wind.

To many, he's crazy; to others, a sage. He lives deep in the forest, in a house made of palm and silence. He knows each spirit, not as a monster, but as a being with history. He will provide the Hunter not only with sacred objects but also warnings. Not everything can be faced with a blade. Sometimes, it's memory that cuts deeper.

🌳 The Forest's Secrets

They say the forest holds secrets no mortal has ever seen. Ancient creatures, forgotten by time, lurk beneath the mantle of leaves, mud, and shadows. They have no names, because those who have found them... have not lived to tell the tale.
